I got a problem logging on to Planetside. I haven't played for a couple of months now but last time it worked flawlessly.
I have tested both the Planetside Launcher and the Station Launcher but when I try to log on I only get the error seen in the attached pic. The only difference I could think of since last time I played is several Windows patches and a couple of new games installed. Also the Windows firewall was enabled but I tried to disable it completely but it made no difference. I welcome advice on resolving this.  Could it be a router firewall issue maybe? Never encountered that before because usually when your computer is the one initiating the connection your firewall usually don't cause any issue.

the connections to gemini were so atrocious tonight that it wouldnt surprise me if they brought the entire network down for maint. everyone was being dc'd every 5 mins, if that. shit was fucked up so badly that SAS ceased operations well before we usually would. someone somewhere did something they probably shouldn't have. try logging in again in 12-15 hours.

No I haven't should i maybe try and uninstall the game and redownload it all together?

I haven't played for a long time and recently decided to make a come back. I tried downloading and re-installing the launcher but still having the same problem...
"Unable to contact login server. Please try again later" Anyone have any other solutions? Is anyone else having the same problem? ***EDIT (Update)*** Went to the Planetside website and selected Download Planetside. Opened the setup.exe and selected Repair/Re-install It updated the files for the launcher and now I am in and working. See if this works maybe? Last edited by Welshtroll; 2012-06-07 at 11:31 AM.
