How do i switch empires?

i got the beta, and i wanna test out the other empires, how do i switch?

delete all your chars on that server, and log back in and it should take you to empire selection screen.

If it doesn't take you to empire selection, click the back button where you name your character and that will take you back.

everytime i hit delete when i have selected a character, it doesnt delete, it just stays there. even after its done some loading.

when i hit back there, i exit the game.

heh, that makes 2 of us with that problem..someone pm me if they find a fix.

This was reported as a bug and the devs said it was fixed. Either it has popped up again or you found a new iteration of the bug.
