I doubt many here are new to the process. The revelation is that there is now pretty solid evidence that closed beta has already started inviting players outside of SOE. Thats kinda of a big deal.

They play everynight D:

No offense to any of those outfits, but they're more zergfit than anything. SOE extended these invites to outfits that had a very organized base and moderate numbers. For example, my outfit had about 15 active guys. All use vent, all were 8+ year vets, all signed up for beta. I figured someone would catch on sooner or later. Best of luck, mates.

I haven't watched a TON of azure twilight, but from what I did see that outfit was very much the antithesis of zergfit. All on TS, professional communication and performance, well coordinated execution of gameplay -- all pretty "elite," as it were, imo.

We have a small group of active players at the moment, but looking to enlist recruits when PS2 comes out.

Lol, I noticed that. I'm ok with it like I posted about 2 weeks before E3 , Soe should let a few PS veterans into the E3 demo to show the world how Planetside is played.

They're not all on TS. Their squads are filled with guys that have the "AT" tag, but aren't in TS and aren't following the leaders. Command is kind of shotty, if Francko isn't on, its chaos. And when they finally fill a gal or two and drop em, its usually a wipe... at the hands of my outfit. Or any random greenie that happened to be nearby.

So you're saying you and your clan are in the beta, right? Or just in the beta forums?

I know I've played with them, in fact did some operations with them back in the day. I only remember good memories of productive battles with them.

Hmmm.... Problem is I'm they might just have 1 server so far, in which case the stability testing is going to be a very slow creeping influx of players. Which also means only a max of a couple thousand players will be on for this phase. Everyone hunker down, it's gonna be a while yet before they let many of us in.
