Let me suggest a rather refreshing change of pace. The new conglomerate! Why would you want to play as a wanna-be-alien or some Terran Republic pawn when you can be part of the amazing freedom fighting New conglomerate. Lets be honest they do look the best, The TR all have bumble bee goggles and the VS rejects from a failed scifi movie.

I hope this helps you make up your mind, And before I forget if you do consider the Nc and then think about joining an outfit, please thing of the NCR first (New conglomerate rangers) My Australian outfit.
