What is the Matrix?

Just thought i post this. I myself can't wait till February, it will help take my mind off PS a bit.

Coming in February, THE 2ND RENAISSANCE: PART ONE will be the first of THE ANIMATRIX episodes to launch, with more to follow. In fact, there will be new episodes to download right through the months leading to the event we are all waiting for, the May 15th premier of THE MATRIX: RELOADED. While we are not releasing all nine online (as there is a DVD on the way), those we are encoding will be complete and uncut, pulled directly from the digital source files.
And for the unenlightened The Animatrix is a (very cool)DvD being released next year with 9 anime stories based on the Matrix told by 7 different directors. It's not The Matrix in anime, it's really totally different stories(well 1 looks like The Matrix in anime) showing us all kinds of cool Matrix stuff including how humans killed the sky.

Flash preview(includes the names of directors)

To truly appreciate anime you must see Neon Genesis Evangelion, Ghost in the shell and i'm sure a few others i haven't seen. Patlabor and Macross are also 2 excellent choices.

Hey Zero, I'm not big into the anime scene. It's almost banned in Utah. Silly mormons.

I'm content with Lord of the Rings for now.

I really liked fist of the north star and ninja scroll. Those were the first (and only) anime (I guess that's what they are) I have ever seen.

Ninja scroll didn't bode well with me. It varies too much from really "slow scene, not much action more story" to "ACTION FIGHT SCENE" it's weird.
