That Time Again - PSU Costs

It's that time again. I purchased the servers based off the last time we raised funds. And paid a months bill, the $1000 raised in that fund raiser is now gone.

So, in short I must raise some more funds to keep PSU running as it is today, without going into debt. I changed the status, I am not setting a "Solid" amount. I will set a goal of 800$ to take us into the future, and go to hosting expenses.

Maybe it's time to go donate blood.

You may need to start considering a more steady income for the site then relying on $400 donations a month.

Maybe you could do subtle, non-crappy, advertising?

There is no money in advertising unfortunatly. Why do you think all the .com's went out of business

There is money in porn advertising, but that is kind of out of the question.

Well it depends a lot on how many hits you get a day. PA does fairly well advertising to support itself. It won't turn you a profit, but it will keep you afloat.

One thing that has always worked well is to talk with your clan, and pick a number, and then the clan donate that much. Takes a little pressure off of individuals, while bonding the clan a little further.

I changed the terms a bit, I will not be creating a thread every 2 months. If I expect everyone here to do that PSU will be closed.

We will be looking into "other" options

Hope you can think of a good unobtrusive plan. I'm curious how much growth there will be in the next month or two...
