I just thought I should start a thread about the terrain, effects and so forth. I would like to hear what people think about the graphics in this game. I would like to hear your opinion on the graphics besides they are great,awesome,major, and so forth.

...what we think about them, but it can't be that they are tight?...so do you want me to give a speech on the engine, how maxed out its capabilities are, is it the unreal engine that R6 Raven Shield uses!? NO...what do you want us to say, more info about wat you want.

I think the grafics are pretty crisp looking. I like the environments espescially the really lush forest type ones. I think that the grafics arent the best of any game out right now but for an MMOG they are superb. I think these grafics will definatly please anyone playing the game.

Speaking of effect, on the snow terrians, will the vehicles, facilities, and suits of armor have a duller finish on them, as if snow is sticking to them? Or will it just be the regular finish on everything on every map?

The engine is nice, however, it seems like they keep bumping it up. If they up the textures before release at all, the look could improve a lot.

As for effects like the snow: that's possible, since they did mention in an interview that they have people devoted to that sort of thing (roostertails for vehicles hovering low over water is an effect they confirmed)

The graphics will be fine. Not the best, but still very pretty, it seems.

Personally I don't find the graphics all that impressive, although I do like the terrain.

Hopefully they will make up for it in effects such as the night/day transitions, shadow, cloud effects, rain, snow, etc.

I think some of the models are a little bit blocky, but on some level it works and fits nicely with the overall atmosphere they set forth in the game. The sheer fact that there'll be hundreds of things on screen at once spells murder for the PC though.
