Well they did switch it into a full sequel.

So uh, how does pre-ordering from gamestop work? I click the blue pre-order link and nothing happens.

Hmm, so the pre-order link on Gamestop doesn't work and I dunno how to pre-order on Amazon either.

I don't think SOE wants to slap their player base in the face that badly. It's not like there's even that many people subbed... why not invite all of your current playerbase to test a game you want them to by?

BTW, why do I have to pay now for a pre-order on Amazon? That makes no sense.

If we had some concrete SOE evidence, than maybe I would join in on this speculation.

Anyhow, is there a way to pre-order without paying now? I don't want to be out $50 for a game that may not release for a year.

The Game Stop pre-order doesn't withdraw funds until the game is shipped.

I'm going to wait until the CE is announced. I also wonder if there is going to be any unlocks based on where you bought the game from.

1 the current planetside players are either on the 45 days free, or the last remaining subscribers

2 if every current PS1 subscriber got into beta, PS1 would become almost dead. (the reason i say almost is because people would still be subscribed, but most people would be playing the beta)

3 does anyone else realize that planetside1 is going to be shut down within a couple years
