Lasher Question

The lasher is supposed to do alot of dmg for a direct hit. So choose if you want to hit alot alittle or alittle alot.

Supposedly, at the moment, all the vanu are complaining on the beta forums that the pulsar and the lasher are too weak. This information comes from some dumbass on sony's official ps forums on beta who didn't know what an NDA was. I mean thats what an NDA's for, to keep people from finding out that one of the empires is so much worse then the others at the moment. Probably because of that info, some idiots not realizing that it will be fixed will join another empire when it comes out.

Lasher = teh suck

It's useless outdoors cause its shots are easily dodged, but the NC shotgun and TR minigun are not.

they are more powerful though. thats why it is a short range weapon.

If you want an open field weapon, get a bolt driver or a punisher.

The lasher is a close assault weapon, expecting it to perform outside of its range of design is silly.

Exactly, it's one weapon spot filled for a gun that you'll only use in hallways were they can't dodge it. Which is why it = teh suck.

And doing more damage won't make up for missing it's target 90% of the time.

Although truthfully even the hallway thing is questionable. If you've seen the official trailer, you know what I mean.

I'm sorry, this is different from the jackhammer/fletchette...how? Oh, its not. Imagine that, one empire's close assault weapon is just as useless in the open field as another's. Time to start writing letters of protest.

Maybe this is just me, BUT THERE'S A TIMER ON THE NADES, and plasma nades explode into big balls of plasma acid crap that do tons of damage over time to everything but maxes and vehicles. So by the time that damage-over-time is done, you will of already launched another nade at them. And there is a grenade launcher on the common weapon the 'punisher' for rapid dispersal of grenades. But yes the lasher is good for close range fighting and that's about it. The little balls move like 2 mph so you can say fux it to any moving target somewhat far away.

"Hey bob...what's that moving at us?"
"well Jim, looks like some lasher balls"
"Think we should move?"
"Eh........*LONG PAUSE*...sure"
*Both jim and bob take a few steps to the left and watch the lasher balls miss them by several feet*

"Yeeeeep *sips beer*"

Ok thats basically what I've gotten out of using the lasher
