How big is the download

I am currently downloading the game, was just wondering how much HD space it takes up.

I have a friend at work who is interested in playing with me. However, if for some reason we decide not to continue with it (and its okay to trasfer beta accounts) I would be happy to pass it along to another tester(s).

More like a little over 2GB and it takes forever to download with even a nice connection.

My suggestion would be to sleep, watch a movie, go shopping and come back in 6-8 hours.

Very large, my download broke once and had to pick back up later. It took about 2 hours at probably 150k/sec

mmm...sure wish they'd have given the rest of us the option to download instead of waiting on a CD.

while I'm thrilled to be in the line waiting for the chance, downloading would have had me in game already.

Well... I think there would be a problem of all 25k or us downloading at the same time. SOE's servers would explode heheh.

Warning: do NOT leave the computer once the download has started until you have read the entire online manual. You think you know, but you do not. If you finish the manual while the download is in progress, you will not have any questions about how to do things when you play.

If you do not read the manual, you will have a hundred questions and they are all dumb. We do not want to answer them, so STFU and RTFM, and I hope to see you in game soon.
