Derek Smart is the internet's version of Baghdad Bob. Even if this game wasn't some abortion he shat out of his mangina, free MMOs suck. Case in point: nine-tenths of the shit that spews out of Asia, Allods (commie-WoW), etc.

Allods isn't that bad, at least as far as the game itself is concerned. I just don't like being forced to buy incense to keep the blessing going to remain viable.
But I play for the naval aspect mainly anyway.

Wish people would stop callin these things "free". None of these Free to Play games are really free, you get only basic stuff, but then you get nickled and dimed to death to get anything thats worth a darn. You also pay for every update and content patch. And many are even so terrible as to allow you to pay to get better more powerful stuff, aka if you have money you own everyone else, if you dont pay for this stuff you get pwnd.
Also, a simple fact very few people realize: The average person pays significantly more money out on these "free to play" games than they do on those with monthly subs (there are some rather interesting studies on this stuff). Easy to nickle and dime people to death than to get em to pay money they can predict. Its like if you put a lobster into hot water it will try to jump out, but if you put him in cold water then heat it up slowly, he will stay in there and be cooked to death. Bottom line, dont be the dumb lobster. |

The game actually looks quite promising. The pay to play aspect doesn't appear to be too crazy since there are no rare items or uber gear.
Some very cool features in the game like being able to enter all buildings visible on the map, and within the 2x3km bases. |
