More RAM or better Video Card?

I have a Geforce 2 32mb video card and 256mb of RAM. Have a little less than $100 to spend, so what would be first you would reccomend to upgrade?

What are the rest of your system specs, and what do you want to be doing on the computer?

I want to be able to have better framerate on PS. I don't care about the graphics really, except for seeing further.

Windows XP
P4 1.6GHz

Not sure what else to say about other specs such as sound card and stuff like that.

Well, you're not going to get a better frame rate for that card. On the other hand, you're not going to have a good time with only 256mb of memory. Quite a quandry.

I would go for Memory.

A quandry indeed. It's your call man... upgrading either will boost FPS, but neither will make it perfect.

You need both. That or don't even try putting down $50 for Betaside.

Edit: Sorry for being so harsh, but I really took it up the ass this time for shelling out $50 for something that recommends 1Gig of ram plus bugs that I have had to deal with.

Thanks for the advice guys. I used the coupon that came with PS and got a stick of 512mb RAM. So now that makes..umm..768mb!
Hopefully I can upgrade my video card soon too.

I'm using 768MB of RAM and it works pretty well, it reduces the amount of choppyness pretty well, even with a Radeon 9700 Pro.

Well guys, I put in the new RAM last nightand it has improved so much! I have absolutely ZERO lag on it with the lowest settings! I'm gonna see how high I can up the settings with minimum lag. Thanks again for the help.
