Damn it's hard to work today.

So I loaded up my new MP3 player with Powerman 5000, Disturbed, Rigor Mortis, System of a Down, and a few other things stoped my the coffe shop and got a 'Fog Lifter' which is 2 shots of expresso toped off with whatever kind of coffe you want, and came into work.

All this caffine, and fast music has given me massive amounts of energy and I find it hard to do the monutmus task of editing java script after java script (97 down, 140 or so to go).

In fact I'm more likely to start a mosh pit and smash someones fuck then I am to get any work done.

Oh well.

Fun, Fun, Fun. I get to make one of these for each of 250 diffrent products. Eventully it will be an Uberl33t left side navigation with nifty sliding menus/submenus.

And after I am done with that i get to make web pages for each one of the product sites. 240 products x 50 pages each = 12,000 web pages.

least I have untill 1-31-2003 to finish it all

look at the nifty code:

Code:
/********************************************
THE FOLLOWING SECTIONS DEFINE THE ACTUAL
STRUCTURE AS WELL AS TEXT, URLS, AND ICONS
THAT MAKE THE TREE MENU. - FOR HELP WITH
INDEXING YOUR ITEMS REFER TO THE DOCUMENTATION.
*********************************************/

/*-------------------------------------------

It's not the whole site. It's just the left side navigation menu. It's more DHTML then it is java script. The rest of the site is all HTML. The reason to do it this way is that they change the menu selections from time to time and it's easier for me to make the change real quick in the java file (it's a seprate file then the web page itself) instead of recodeing all the individual pages.

1 java file = 50 web pages.

Arrow I feel your pain...

When logitech was running there promotion 2 weeks ago.. I built this fandago, some of the |oR| members used it and won too.. :D fun!

Here it is in raw form, for "educational" purposes only. If you were to install AutoIT ( www.hiddensoft.com ) on your PC, dump this into notepad, save it as Logitech.aut then use AutoIT to compile it, set your state and what not on the 20% losers page, shrink the window down so you can see your desktop icons a little, then activate the newly compiled .exe that would be wrong

SetKeyDelay, 20
SetWinDelay, 20
SetEnv, counter, 0
Loop:
WinGetActiveTitle, WindName
IfEqual, WindName, Cordless Promotion - Not Winner - Microsoft Internet Explorer, Goto, loser
IfEqual, WindName, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Goto, hitenter
IfEqual, WindName, http://www.logitechcordless.com/contest_result.htm, Goto, loser
EnvAdd, counter, 1
IfEqual, counter, 50, Goto, stuck
Goto, Loop

loser:
WinActivate, Cordless Promotion - Not Winner - Microsoft Internet Explorer
Send, {F5}
SetEnv, counter, 0
Goto, Loop

hitenter:
WinActivate, Microsoft Internet Explorer
Send, {ENTER}
SetEnv, counter, 0
Goto, Loop

ie6:
WinActivate, http://www.logitechcordless.com/contest_result.htm
SetEnv, counter, 0
Goto, Loop

stuck:
MSGBOX, 48, Well, Either something is wrong, or you won, restart me if you didn't win!
Exit

Also, you really can't use your pc while doing it.. I can cause I have mulitple machines... although it is for educational purposes only, so you really shouldn't be doing it anyway...
