How do you play as a MAX?

I feel dumb for asking this but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to play as the Max class. Do you have to be a certain battle rank?

Just equip it at a terminal.

People who were in tech test have burster weapons but I believe the AI and AV weapons are available from scratch.

What faction are you playing in? Depending on what type of Max you are, there are different strategies. Don't just rush into a battle, find some cover, so you can pop out and back in again,bob and weave to save your armor. Team up with an engineer to repair you and supply ammo.

Right now in Beta the Max is not being used the fearsome unit that it once was in the original PS. The AA function they just allowed us to you works decent at least as a TR. The NC scattermax is deadly. Just hold on it should get better.

I just keep hitting the ability key running at the enemy yelling "come at me bro" in the voip.......they do come at me and I get killed allot....

I don't think I even had the option to select a MAX, does it cost resources?

strangely the aim button uses the secondary weapon for the max.

It should show at any equipment terminal and they do cost resources.

Max uses both mouse buttons to fire.

I hope they do improve max units, seem kinda pointless at the moment
