It is cool to see the way it is taking shape. Now the instrument panel looks really nice, and all the information is present even without the UI showing.

I agree. I love how the panel looks now. I am definitely going to be spending alot of time with this view.

I think everything should be present without the need for the UI. It really does look amazing.

It looks like it adds to the immersion.

Could be one of the moon-setting phenomena: e.g. when the Earth's Moon is closer to the horizon it appears larger because the atmosphere has a magnifying effect on the image.

Also, agreed with the hybrid UI/hard information elements. Modern jet pilots and helicopter pilots have visor mounted heads up displays, would make sense for there to be a similar system in place in the distant future. IMO crosshairs and angle of attack indicators as well as flare/countermeasure status should be on the HUD.

Even the small sections of Indar they've shown off are driving me crazy with anticipation. It looks like there's so much to do just around that one single base!

That bridge overlooking the battle is going to be a blast; just imagine all the AA grunts and snipers up there with vehicles and engineer barricades for cover. The battles for that area will be truly epic.

I love the details of that thing: even one of the little screws holding the window in place has the metal around it worn out, as if the window's been replaced dozens of times.

Its not giving off much light. (BTW: We are talking about the thing in the right hand side of the sky, not the sun/star on the left hand side.

Damn, looks amazing! Also looks like bases display the empire logo with has the base captured now. (look above the top right cockpit screen)
