Censura Ultra Semi - Hardcore EST PvP Guild
About Us Censura Ultra is a guild that started back in 2010 as a Star Wars: The Old Republic Guild with just a few members. The guild slowly grew over they year long wait for the game and we all became close friends, playing League of Legends and any random little game we all decided to pick up to entertain ourselves during the wait. We were ready once SWTOR launched, and we quickly rushed to end game to be able to start dominating in World PvP and Raids, only to find that the content we had hoped for wasn't there and the PvP unbalanced. We decided to leave SWTOR behind and move on and wait for a new MMO to hold our interest. Some stayed with SWTOR and joined other guilds while the rest of us plugged along searching for the MMO we all hope for. Guild History Censura Ultra was first created back in September of 2010 as a Semi-Hardcore PvP guild for Star Wars The Old Republic to play on the Republic faction. The guild started out small and slowly built up member, and even made an alliance with a Sith Guild by the name of Sovereign to allow for a more dynamic community and skirmish partners. They showed us League of Legends, which we picked up pretty quick and still play to this day. The Alliance fell threw at launch because we were put on different servers. After playing SWTOR for about two months, we determined that we did not want to play the game due to problems with end game content. We now search for an MMO worth our time, dedication and money to call home, bringing us to our current status of recruiting for Guild Wars 2. We recently changed our name to Censura Ultra from Uprising and have added a new chapter to the guild for Planetside 2 when it launches. Goals/ Mission Censura Ultra's goals are to create a great community of friends to play games with, and to progress our skills and achievements to be the best they can be. We hope to leave our name on the battlefield of any game we play, and to hold enough power to have a say in what happens within the game. Our current community is great, and we are all good friends, but we will always want that to grow, to meet new people to join our group of friends, and to help us be all that we can be. Guild Communication Censura Ultra has used many forms of communication over the years including Ventrilo, Teamspeak 3, and Mumble, resulting in the continued use of Mumble as it has the best sound quality and lowest latency out of any of the voice communication services. I will list our info bellow so anyone can hop on and chat with some members or ask questions (you cannot use our server as a form of voice chat with your friends, this will result in being kicked and banned from our server) Label: Censura Ultra Address: east1.voice.enjin.com Port: 64240 Password: forceuser Additional Information Just wanted to give everyone some more information about us and how our structure works. We are currently led by Ordain, the guild leader, and a few guild officers who help to keep things organized and run events. Every change that happens with the guild is voted on in a guild meeting where everyone's vote counts, even the new members. We have sub-chapters of the guild for League of Legends and one for Planetside 2. We use Mumble as our source of communication and the guild runs entirely on donations. The members are the life blood of the entire community, socially and financially. We have some rules set in place to keep everything organized and easy going, most of these rules where made after mistakes and problems occurred, so we learn from experience. If you want to know more, feel free to hop on our Mumble server and ask someone online or message Ordain personally. How to Apply Head over to www.censura-ultra.us and click "Register" on the left side to create an Enjin account. Once you have done that, you will click "Apply Here" on the top menu bar of the site, and fill out all the answers. Once completed, you must go to your email and verify your account. Your application will be processed within the day and you will go through your recruitment period which includes an interview, and some guild activity. Once you finish that, you will be a full member of the guild. Divisions Rangers. The Rangers are the main ground-force of Censura Ultra. The Ranger's main function is to protect and defend the Terran Republic. Rangers conduct short-term-notice deployments using many methods of infiltration. Rangers may make raids into hostile territory to capture enemy bases or resources as well as other critical locations. Rangers can conduct airborne missions. Rangers collect information on their scouting and recon missions to report on enemy forces in order to repel or assault the enemy. Main Classes: Light Assault, Infiltrator, Medic. Other Classes: Heavy Assault, Max. Used when doing a direct assault on Key Positions. Armored: The Armored Division Will be the main Tank and Ground Support Force of Censura Ultra. The armored divisions function is to hold key positions and assault heavily defended enemy fortifications. They will be Censura Ultra`s Main storm troops and will be our vanguard. The armored will have focus on long range mass bombardment taking advantage of what the Terran Republic has to offer. They will respond to the reconnaissance made available by the rangers in order to quickly neutralize any threats. The Airforce and Armored Division will be supporting each other in every situation possible. Main Classes: Engineer, Heavy Assault, Max Other Classes: Medic Airforce: The Airforce will be the main Air Assault and Air Support Force. The Airforce`s main function will be to maintain air superiority and ferry ground forces into position. Mosquitoes will be used to escort Galaxies to drop points and protect ground troops from airborne threats. Liberators will be used in conjunction with the Armored forces to help bombard enemy positions. Galaxies of course will be used to ferry troops into potion and setup forward spawns. That will be totally fine, we will be a more militaristic style guild but are understanding about hours. We will have scheduled events within the guild and will expect you to attend for the duration (as it can effect world control and positioning) but ONLY if you sign up to go to the event.
As for the group of people, everyone here is awesome and are all pretty much great friends. Many of us have been playing games together for years. So as long as your not an ass, you'll fit right in. Feel free to apply and go through your new member intro period and see if you like it. |
