question about servers

say i pick an empire in one server.. say i go to another server, do i get to pick another empire.. so everytime i go to one of those servers, then i am in the empire i picked for that server.. how will it go.. ??? and will there be a limit?

When you choose a server, you select an empire. Everytime you play on that server, you are forced to always play that empire on that server. The exception would be if you deleted all of your saved characters on that server, you can select an empire again for that server. If you go to a different server, you can select a new empire, but your saved characters from the old server are NOT transfered over to the other server. Confused yet?

i think i got it..... so what ur saying is if i say, join the terrans on 1 server, i can join the vanu or conglomo on another and it wont affect my terran save?

You can only join ONE empire. All your characters on all servers must be the same empire. If you remove all chars then you can changes your empire. Okay ?

^^ i think ur wrong because i read somewhere that you can have up to 3 players on 1 account, just all 3 cant be on 1 server..

Ok, ok. Wait.

You get ONE EMPIRE PER SERVER.
You get FOUR characters PER SERVER.
Therefore, you get four characters, in ONE empire, PER SERVER.

So, EACH server can have seperate empires.

^^ omni what do you mean you get 4 characters per server?? i thought it was only 1... so i am confused.. can i pick a different empire for each server?

EXACTLY
4 chars per server (all same empire)
but can be dif empire on dif servers (at expense of not being closest to you so more lag few ms)
