So?

Mosquito (TR) = Fastest Speed
Reaver (NC) = Strongest Armor/Most Damage
Scythe (VS) = Most Maneuverability/Versatility

They all have tradeoffs. This isn't that big of a deal. The VS can't see as well to the sides as the other empires, and likely has the weakest armaments. Wah.

I agree with you, sir. They couldn't have made a more Vanu-y cockpit, both in terms of cosmetics and how it affects gameplay.

It would be the most awesome thing ever if the startup animation showed a completely bare-bone/empty cockpit filling up with virtual displays and readouts

I remember some people being concerned that the Scythes wings would give it a field of view disadvantage (before we knew that 3D cockpits were in). Seems kind of ridiculous now

You're kidding right? The Scythe has terrible ground viewing ability because of the wings and the HUD that pokes up the middle. I'm pretty sure that all 3 ES aircraft have precisely the same level of view obstruction, just positioned differently.

What I'm saying is that all the other cockpits have two annoying bars that block and distract from someones FOV(field of vision). To where the Scythe has no such blockage, seems kind of unfair.
