I have 2 questions.

1) What is 3D spotting?

2) What system is in place for latency? Because I live in New Zealand so i get roughly 400-500ms ping when connecting to USA so will that mean i will have to aim 500ms in front of someone to hit them or will I aim at them and it takes 500ms to register that I hit them?

In response to 2) - World of Tanks had its server in the US and playing from Aus had an average ping of 230-250 ms on cable. No forward aiming on a slow target, just in game compensation for a fast target over distance. Whilst this is from a different coder and game I believe latency up to around this level is no longer an issue.
