The problem with the Black Hawk Down scenario is that in a respawn game, there's no need or reason to hold out against an attacking force. Just fight, die and respawn.

HOWEVER - it would wrk if you were defending an objective. Say, the capture point for a hex you own. That way, you might be fewer against many, but you might have a respawn Gal deployed to prevent you simply being wiped out - and you are holding territory, so that's a reason to stay there and fight the odds.
