It's unlikely they will set a solid date since it's still being treated with an NDA. They will just start inviting people out of the blue most likely, possibly announcing at the time that some invites have gone out or something along those lines.

Surely if you think you are that close then we are in fact not closer than we think because then we wouldn't think that we are that close when we in fact thought we weren't thinking it.

Actually reading the second one again it seems to be a reference to the heavy and assault class. I don't pay attention to the class weeks, but if they have yet to do those two...

For what its worth, which may be nothing and I apologize if this has already been brought up, but when I login to my station account I see a "Planetside 2" area, set to inactive with "Unlimited Play". This may have always been there, or new as of today I have no idea.

they frequintly said the beta would be comming soon. Higby said it a few times in an interview and on twitter. the twitter account of ps2 says it a few times. I think that the beta will be there at the end of April or the beginning of May. i'm probably wrong, I hope I'm not, but that looks lokical to me.
