Re: ATVs

ATVs were nice because their one-cert cost ensured that you wouldn't have an extra cert let over. I wouldn't really mind if they are brought back in PS 2, but unless they are significantly buffed, they won't be very useful.

Not sure if serious. The fury is fine.

If they buffed the fury you'd drown in the whine. It was already easy to at least scare off if not kill a bad MBT crew and you could do some serious dmg to a good one before they knew where you were, lightnings and SG's were pure fodder for them

Yeah Lightnings and Skyguards are my bread and butter on a fury. Good for cleaning up damaged tanks that are retreating. Fury is pretty much my favourite playstyle because of the extreme uncertainty as to whether you're going to 1) get smoked in half a second or 2) get a massive veh killstreak...

I think that the wraith would be a lot more useful if it was ignored by mines when cloaked, but I haven't heard anything about cloakers in the new information, maybe they're on the outs for PS2...

Cloakers are in PS2. I think we knew before the Reddit interview, but Matt's "You'll have fun as an Infiltrator in PS2, I promise." confirmed it.

Someone mentioned in chat that if ATVs are in PS2, it'll probably be 1 ATV that you can modify into a wraith/fury/basilisk etc. using the certifications.

Nice, glad to hear cloakers are in.

Now all we need is a fury variant that has flak!

Re: ATVs

Overlords used to do ATV nights once in a while where we'd all get in a bunch of Furies and go tank hunting. We'd just drive in in groups and take pot shots at them then run off, then come back, drive circles around them, drive the crews nuts. And we'd take down a shit load of them because they couldn't chase us all and once they realized they were super low on armor they couldn't escape. Good times.

I hope they are back also. They'd be great for Infantry to get around in outdoors. They could use ATV's and the Buggy's to get into hard to reach positions, dismount and wreck havoc. Then move onto the next objective.

I'm not saying the fury is defenseless against air, but you need an ample source of conveniently placed hills to pull it off! The one thing you've got going for you in a fury is that reavers think you're easy pickins'...
