I wasn't expecting hands on 'til like 2013 or something, the 10th anniversary of Planetside. So anything sooner is nice. Let's me figure out how much more I'll need to beef up my system!

They will probably be tweaking it for some time but waiting isn't a big deal.
I hit up Planetside 1 again this year and it's hella fun; there are a few things like drastic changes to the infiltrator and a vast reduction in vehicle types in PS2 that may leave me a grouchy old man, harkening back to the good old days. But I'll happily throw money at it like confetti

Dunno if I can be arsed to photoshop a new sig based on the new MAX units.

Yet many of the zero day crashes are often caused by issues having to do with load, hence the beta. Beyond that, being out in the wild is always the best way to expose bugs.

I'm not upset, I just hope the issues are actually something critical.

Aside from that, while I am cautiously optimistic, I played both PS1 and SWG from release, I have very little faith in SOE.

It is kinda a bummer that the beta was postponed, because I was looking forward to it. It would be cool if Higby could stream more for us, to take the edge off.
