vid settings for pside?

What are the correct video card settings for planetside on a 9800xt?

What do you want on and off for planetside to work properly. Which settings interfere with the games programming.

anisotropic filtering, anti aliasing etc.

Which settings work best with pses ingame vid settings too. I think id prefer to set it in game if i can.

I would go middle of the line with you rig, then just slowly bump it up. Always have veiwing distance at max, and everything else is eally optional.

Of course pray to god you dont have this problem http://psforums.station.sony.com/ps/...cending&page=1 as i have to run everything at absolute bottom to just continue to play more than 5 minutes at a time without hard locking.

I meant what is the best setting in the video card itself? Which settings do you want for planetside to run smoothly? What could be causeing conflicts in how the game looks or plays that i've just been atributing to something else? Do all default setting work fine in a 9800xt? Does anyone know what the correct settings are for pside?

Imo whatever works best - I always try out a bunch of settings before settling on one that runs best

I thought maybe my cards setting through the catalyst CC was causing me problems. I have the problem with white textures freezing and crashing. I have teh exact problems as these people. I have had it for a long time. I thought it was my CPU overheating but it happens wether i overclock or not.

I guess i've always thought maybe a setting in my video card was causing a conflict from having it set wrong for planetsides 'needs'.

And i apparently cant post on the OF with whatever free game access i have right now. Its interesting. I didnt even know i had free access. It must have been the stuff at the time they gave the free EQ 21 day pass.
